Hi students,

Due to changes imposed by an external software provider, we will be shortly making changes to any course which requires you to create support tickets using the Spiceworks service desk software.

We apologise for the short notice and inconvenience, but the Spiceworks software will be unavailable to use from 5pm ACST on Saturday 31 May.  The system will be taken offline and will not be returning.

Next week, we will launch a new system to replace Spiceworks, and we will provide more information at that time.

If you are currently working on any assessment that makes use of the Spiceworks software for service desk activities including creating tickets, dealing with asset inventory, or knowlege base,  we would strongly encourage you to try and complete those assessments before Saturday if feasible.  If not - don't panic!  For assessments still in progress that you will not complete before Saturday, make sure you have screenshots of all the work that you have completed in Spiceworks.

Consult with your trainer through your student portal, or e-mail studentsupport@academyit.com.au if you have any concerns.  We're here to help you, and we'll work with you to ensure that you're able to complete your assessment.
